Thrilled to Announce…

‘Tis the Season…for Snow and Cold!
Small Business Saturday
We got a double whammy this year! With the huge snow on Saturday, November 29, people were not out and about to do their Christmas shopping like usual, so we extended this event to Saturday, December 6 as well. It also snowed that day, but at least it waited for the evening!
We had 120 entries in the drawing for Chamber Bucks. Winners were: Will P., who made a purchase at the Candy Kitchen; Eva B., at the Wilton Café; and Steven, at Wilton’s Hometown Market. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to everyone who shopped local!
Window Walk 2025
The previously mentioned snow on Dec. 6 did not prevent the Wilton Alumni Christmas not-ready-for-primetime players from sharing “The One and Only Santa Claus” with around 170 audience members between Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. With its freewill donation admission, the play raised $730 for the Wilton-Durant Ministerial Association.

Sunday night the temps were low but spirits were high! Visitors enjoyed the decorated windows, open houses at several businesses, the WHS choir as well as beautiful trees and wreaths at our historic depot, and toasty warm barrel fires. Many children visited with Santa, made a craft with the Wilton Hustlers 4-H Club, rode the train with their parents, and received the book, How to Catch an Elf. Most important, nobody froze to death!
