Career Expo
Around 500 future potential employees will attend the Career Exploratory Fair at the Wilton Community Center on Thursday, April 2. In partnership with Eastern Iowa Community Colleges and Wilton Community Schools, WCDA has organized this opportunity for Wilton 5th-12th grade students to explore various careers.
We have 32 business partners participating. If you are interested, it is not too late to be included, but please let us know immediately.
Citywide Garage Sale

Summer Splash
We can’t wait till the new splash pad is finished! To celebrate, we’re throwing a big party to welcome Summer. It will be Saturday, May 30, at City Park, 12 Noon to 3 pm. We will officially open the splash pad, unveil our new portable stage, listen to some great music, play games, eat some good food, and—of course—splash around!

Legislative Forum
On Saturday, February 28, the Legislative Forum, sponsored by Wilton Precision Steel, was held at City Hall in Council Chambers. There were approximately 25 people there to question state legislators about their stances on various topics.

Wilton Alumni Association’s 128th Annual Alumni Banquet is Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Wilton Community Center. Advance tickets are $25 or $30 after April 15, so purchase soon! United Way Muscatine County
Community Baby Shower: United Way Muscatine County is hosting their Community Baby Shower from April 6-24 and they invite you to join them in supporting local new and expecting mothers.

Day of Caring: Project Sites Needed! Wilton Day of Caring will be May 8, 2026. Community members and students will be doing general yard work, cleaning, organizing, painting, pulling weeds, etc.! Free Mental Health First Aid Training: Mental Health First Aid gives you the skills to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges, while reducing stigma and empowering people to support one another. Eastern Iowa Workforce Board
Eastern Iowa Workforce Board announces its Local Plan, which outlines how workforce services will be delivered in the Eastern Iowa Workforce Area, including services for job seekers, youth, employers, and community partners, is ready to view.
The draft plan will be available for review and comment beginning: March 12, 2026, through May 1, 2026 and may be viewed at: Website: www.eiwb.org/reports-and-plans or by requesting a copy via email director@mississippivalleyworkforce.org. A public listening session will be held April 13, 2026, 5-6 pm.
